Guide to sizes and arrangement of your wardrobe
Package choice *

Marina, with its delicious bon ton taste, is the re-edition of a 60’s model for children.

To choose the right size coat rack, just think about the garments it will hold and who will use it: men, women, children or teenagers? That's right, because unisex doesn't exist, except for the wardrobe in the hallway.

The approximate width is:

  • MEN'S 42/45 cm
  • WOMEN'S 38/40 cm
  • JUNIOR 38/40 cm
  • BABY 28 cm

See the table for details.

It is important to choose the right clothes hanger to support the different garments in your wardrobe. Our clothes hangers come in different shapes and thicknesses depending on their use, as do our accessories:

  • To maintain their shape, the shoulders of jackets, leather jackets and coats need the right support. The hanger must therefore be at least 5/6 cm thick and have a rounded, ergonomic shape.
  • Women's and men's shirts only need a hanger that is 1.5/2 cm thick. Women's hangers should have shoulder pads for tops or non-slip velvet for silk shirts or dresses.
  • For boys and children, a hanger 1.5/2 cm thick is sufficient.
  • Trousers must have an effective anti-slip feature on the hanger rail.
  • For skirts, the clips must have a soft rubber part that does not mark the fabric.

NEVER AGAIN WITHOUT
For a well-organised wardrobe, it is important to include:

  • some storage boxes for scarves, gloves and swimwear to make changing seasons easier;
  • breathable cotton garment bags that can be washed at each change of season, as dust and natural and artificial light can damage or fade fabrics;
  • cedar wood shoe trees to keep shoes dry and tidy;
  • cedar moth repellent sachets to be replaced every season;
  • a stick with a tip for easily reaching garments hanging high up;
  • a closed ring for hanging scarves and shawls and an openable ring for necklaces.

HOW MANY CLOTHES RAILS DO YOU NEED?

To find out how many clothes rails you need for a walk-in wardrobe or wardrobe, just apply this simple formula.

For every linear metre of rail, you will need:

  • 13 hangers for JACKETS
  • 26 hangers for SHIRTS
  • 30 hangers for SKIRTS/TROUSERS

CARE AND CLEANING FOR COLLECTIONS

SuMisura, Basics, Light Design oak, Children, Confetti

At each change of season, you can clean your wooden clothes hangers by wiping the surface and hook with a slightly damp cloth. The flocked rods can be cleaned with a soft brush.

Plexiglas star

To clean plexiglas, simply use a damp cotton cloth to remove dust and then dry with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, as it can damage the material.

Cedar

To restore the colour, moth-repellent properties and woodsy scent, simply rub the surfaces with fine-grain sandpaper.
